AIXchange 2025: Lots of exchange, lots of inspiration – and AI finally becomes practical

The leading conference for artificial intelligence, AIXchange in Singen, was a magnificent package of great keynotes, surprising moments, exciting people, and an incredible amount of AI expertise in one place.

The AIXchange conference is over—and it left a lasting impression. Above all, the many wonderful people and exceptionally good discussions showed how valuable formats are that truly enable exchange: open, concrete, and on equal terms.

In terms of content, it was clear that the AI industry is evolving. There was much less focus on “fancy” demos and gimmicks – and much more on real-world applications: how AI provides reliable support in everyday life, how processes are becoming smarter, and how organizations can scale responsibly. It was precisely this practical relevance that made AIXchange equally relevant for users and executives alike.

Particularly impressive: the expertise available in this economic area. Many new ideas, exciting presentations, and exchanges with like-minded people have once again made it clear how quickly the field is moving—and how important community and networking are in this context.

mindUp also draws a very positive conclusion: We are delighted that so many people responded to the call to exchange ideas in this format. A big thank you to all visitors to our booth for the many good discussions and the consistently positive feedback on our contributions. We are taking a lot of energy and concrete ideas with us – and look forward to what comes next.

Our message:

Imagine an AI project was a movie.

Many companies start out full of expectations: big visions, big goals—almost like a new blockbuster production.
But as with movies, a good idea is not enough.

Without a script, without direction, without a crew, even the best concept can quickly become a project that gets left behind somewhere in the editing room.

This is exactly where mindUp comes in.
At mindUp, we are like directors and producers of AI projects.
We make sure that not only the first scenes are shot, but that the entire film is created – from the opening to the happy ending.

What does that mean?

We write the script – by making the data visible, usable, and clean in terms of quality. Without a good script, there can be no good story; without good data craftsmanship, there can be no functioning AI.

We direct – we design AI systems so that they are not only technically impressive, but also have a business impact.

We produce the film to completion – we integrate, test, optimize, and reliably put AI into real operation. No proof-of-concepts that gather dust on the shelf. Instead, we deliver finished, functioning systems.

Many AI projects fail not because of the idea – they fail because no one has an overview of the entire film.
We do.
Because our goal is clear: we ensure that AI projects don't get abandoned halfway through, but end successfully.

Ready for an AI project with a happy ending?
